In May 2009, four residents from North Belfast will travel to Geneva, Switzerland. They hope to influence the review of the United Kingdom by the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Stay tuned for videos, blog posts and more. Watch the international human rights system in action.

- Participation and the Practice of Rights Project.
- We aim to give individuals, groups and communities the tools and support they need to actively assert and campaign for their social and economic human rights.

Angie McManus is a member of the Seven Towers Residents Group and a resident of the New Lodge in North Belfast.
Bertie Atkinson is a member of the Lower Shankill Residents' Voice and a resident of the Lower Shankill in North Belfast. He is also a member of the Girdwood Residents' Jury.
Gerard McCartan is a member of the PIPS-Greater Shankill Bereaved Families Rights Group and a resident of North Belfast.

Nicola Browne is the Research and Policy Officer at the Participation and the Practice of Rights Project.
